UAB "LK Development" (hereinafter referred to as LKD) has begun its activities as an expert consultant company that facilitates strategic investment projects between Lithuanian and Korean companies with also making a huge focus on the neighboring markets in the Baltic Sea Region as well as the entire Europe.

Successful networking and successful formation of large, medium and small size company client base as well as gained knowledge and know-how led to the demand and necessity for LKD to grow its activities even larger and to take the leader position in some projects, particularly concerning LED. Currently LED solutions are considered as one of the inclusive parts in the Innovation Promotion Strategy in Lithuanian Republic but even before the beginning of 2009 LKD paid considerable attention to LED solutions and became the expert of all LED related issues, solutions and innovations. Solely as a result of LKD's hard work and attention to LED from already the beginning of the last year LKD today has strong and leading positions as LED expert in Lithuania and Baltic Sea Region. Nowadays LKD already on a regular basis receives requests for cooperation in establishing LED factory in Lithuania and calls for cooperation with the local government (municipalities) in Lithuania and neighboring countries in the replacement of street lights with LED street lights on ESCO scheme basis.
